Pray for Barack and Michelle Obama and their children. I can’t imagine what it must be like for young families to be in that kind of fishbowl. As a pastor, I have a small idea of what it’s like, but be in prayer for their family.
Pray that Barack Obama will have a genuine change of heart on the issue of abortion. Pray that the Freedom of Choice Act will not be signed into law.
Pray for our soldiers in harm’s way. Pray that President Bush and President-Elect Obama will be given the wisdom to handle this two-front war.
Pray for our Restoration Fest this Sunday. Pray that neighbors will come out and realize that they are welcome in the family of Christ. Pray that God’s people will represent Christ well. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide the people who will be ministering to spiritual needs. Pray for our church. Pray that our highest passion will be the glory of Jesus. Pray that we will know the joy of the presence of God in our lives. Pray that the love, joy, and peace of knowing Jesus will make a genuine difference in every part of our lives.
