Great time with our brothers and sisters at Suburban Baptist!

We had a great time of fellowship with Suburban Baptist Church. I was really proud of our people for coming out to a Sunday night event. Leon even drove his motorcycle from Slidell to make it. The folks at Suburban were gracious hosts, and First Lady Stephanie Friend made some really good red beds and rice. Thank you to every one who made the effort to make it a special night.

This Sunday as we continue to “follow Jesus” through the Gospel of Matthew, we’ll explore what it means to be a fisher of men. Are you good at influencing others for Christ? Does the idea of talking to others about their faith scare you? These are the ideas we’ll explore as we look at Matthew 4:18-23.

Sounds like a great sermon topic…sounds like you had a great time last week…but what are red BEDS and rice, doesn’t sound too appetizing to me…
