Come Be a Part of God’s Work

Come Be a Part of God’s Work

We’ve been looking forward to “Bernice’s Home-cooked Breakfast” for this Sunday, but I’m afraid to report that Bernice had to go into the hospital this week. I talked to her today, and she hoped that she could get out tonight. In any case, we will just “make do” with fruit, pastries, milk, juice, and coffee this Sunday. I know. It’s a sorry substitute, but the show must go on.

We’ll be breakfasting from 9:30 to 10:00. If you can come a little before 9:30 to help set up, we would love to have you. Jenny Guillory will be addressing both of our adult classes at 10:00 a.m.

It’s very important to me that you come to Sunday School this Sunday because small groups are so important to our care ministry to one another and to our outreach to others, and Jenny has some ideas that will help us move our convictions into actions.

This is a real exciting time in our church. We’ve had an increase in visitors, some old faces are starting to reappear, we’ve added a new staff member, and best of all we’ve recently gained six new members, four of whom are professing Christ as Savior for the first time. All praise and honor belongs to God, but we must remain faithful to the work to which He’s called us. Please come this Sunday morning and find out how you can be involved in the exciting things God is doing.
