A New Look

You’ve probably noticed that the Grace site has had a bit of a facelift. I hope you like it. Our goal was to put more focus on the people of Grace (since the people are what the church is really made of anyway, right?). I think we’ve accomplished that. I hope so anyway. Grace Baptist Church is an incredible and beautiful mixture of people from all different backgrounds, neighborhoods, cultures, and ages. We should celebrate that. We should celebrate that we serve a God who has offered his Grace to all people, regardless of our differences!

Many of you also know that Jake and I will be moving to Alabama this week. I hesitate to say that we are “leaving Grace Baptist Church,” because I don’t think that’s entirely accurate. We love you people! This church and this community have had such an impact on our lives, and we will always consider ourselves part of the Grace family. We have made friendships here that will last a lifetime, and God has used many of you to teach us and grow us in so many ways. Jake often says that he has learned more though being a part of the ministry at Grace than he has in Seminary (although he’ll tell you that Seminary has been a very good thing for him as well). ☺ We intend to stay connected. Know that we believe in the work that God is doing at Grace, and know that we commit to partner with you in that work in any way that we can.

In the email that I sent out. I didn’t give proper credit to my boy Jake for the work done on the website. Sorry, Jake.
