The above link is from the Louisiana Baptist Convention website. The LBC’s ongoing Disaster Relief Fund is already at work through partners at the Florida Baptist Convention and Baptists in Haiti for the long task of helping the people of Haiti.
To give to the work, write a check to “Disaster Relief Fund” and mail it to
Louisiana Baptist Convention
1250 MacArthur Drive
Alexandria, LA 71309
Or, if you prefer, you can bring it to church Sunday, and mark it for “Disaster Relief Fund”.
There’s more information at the link provided above.
However, you should also be thanked for what you’ve already given to the Haitian relief effort. That’s right! Your on-going support of the Louisiana Baptist Convention through your tithes and offerings to our church are making all this possible. Because you faithfully give to Grace Church, and Grace Church faithfully gives to the Louisiana Baptist Convention, the people are already in place and working to make things happen. This as well as our annual World Hunger Offering in October keeps Southern Baptists on the cutting edge of disaster relief and ministry to the poor, and even small churches like ours are important to making these things happen. We’re a part of large family of Baptists who are ministering in the Name of Jesus all over the world.
Thank you.
